Although it has new components designed to meet the latest standards, the general structure of its propulsion unit is identical to the current production models. The unit was built without profitability in mind, and as such has higher than normal specs. However, ease of maintenance and other characteristics of the Demi series was still incorporated into the design.
The Demi Barding, as seen in "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," gets a new 1/144-scale HG model kit from Bandai!
